The Institute for Intelligence and Data (IID) at Laval University is proud to unveil its 2023–2025 biennial activity report, which reflects a pivotal period marked by consolidation, expanded reach, and the affirmation of its strategic role within Quebec’s artificial intelligence ecosystem.
Over the past two years, the IID has continued its mission to bring together expertise in artificial intelligence and data science, building on strong collaborations between academia, industry, and government. The overall results are impressive: since its inception, the IID has supported more than 250 organizations, forged over 200 partnerships, led numerous foundational research and training programs, leveraged world-class infrastructure at Laval University, and brought together more than 100 researchers who contribute to the development and advancement of knowledge across a wide range of application areas.
With a firm focus on the future, the IID reaffirms, through this report, its vital contribution to an artificial intelligence that is grounded in reality, ethical, and dedicated to serving the collective good.
